Chapter 3: I Didn’t Know It, But God Did

I Didn’t Know It But God Did

The words continue to resanate with me, I didn’t know it, but God did. As time had gone on in this journey and making the new transaction, God just kept placing people into my life. He continued to give me encouragement,  hope and confirmation that I was stepping forward correctly into His will and purpose.

The next confirmation moment would come as I was going to apply for a Heloc Loan on my exisiting home. It was going to give me the equity in my home, just in case that my home didn’t sale on time and I would be able to make the move. Oh how God took care of that but yet this contact with the loan manager of my bank was necessary. It was for a season and a reason. I contacted the bank and was sent to the loan officer in a nearby town. When he answered the phone, he had such a southern accent I had to ask him where he was from. Wait for it………You guessed it correctly, Texas, Fort Worth, Texas. But hold on it gets better, his son had graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Now tell me God doesn’t put all the pieces together! These were not just consequences, I can show you a God full of wonder and love for His Children. He also told me that his last name was Lee. I boldly said, “What?” and laughed. I told him my middle name was Lea and we just laughed. This was all happening so fast that my head was beginning to hurt and my stomach muscles were sore from all the laughter. We serve an incredible God is all I could say. He never stops blessing us or surprising us with His Goodness. I am so deeply in love with my Heavenly Father.

I can still remember the moment that he called me back one afternoon to sadly tell me that the bank was not going to be able to do the loan I had asked for. I was a bit disappointed but not saddened. Remembering that I know The King of Kings, The One who owns a thousand cattle on the hill. I wasn’t worried so I told Mr. Lee not to worry that it was just God’s way of working and that I was going to believe for a miracle and for a cash offer on my home so that would make everything work together smoothly.

Let me back track a little. The prior week, February 2nd, I had opened up my phone as I always did first thing in the morning. I opened up to Realtor.com like I had been doing for several weeks watching for any new listings that caught my interest. It just happened to be the day in spiritual numeric date the means God’s Unity. It just how God speaks to me, the was, 02-02-2024, Numbers mean a great deal to me as I have studied them spiritually and their meaning in 3’s and a little in the Hebrew language. So when this beautiful, glowing brightly home that had just been put on the market came up first and caught my attention like none other had, I knew that I knew it was Holy Spirit saying, this is the home, this is your home. There was no doubt in my mind that it was my new home and it was the perfect one that God has chosen for me. I quickly called my realtor and told him about it. He said he would check it out and get back with me. First message he sent was that the price was unbelievable for the area, second one he stated that he couldn’t get over to the home until the next day but when he got there he would facetime so I could see the house. I was so excited throughout the day knowing that God had worked everything together and it was all coming to fruition.

The following moring my realtor called to facetime me very early, well according to Colorado time it was still early, and as he steps to the front door, I know that I know it’s my new home. He walks in the house and it’s so beautiful. Tall ceilings and large windows making it so open and so bright for me. Exactly what God knew I wanted and needed in a home. There were big windows everywhere. A big back yard for me to work in and to mow, another thing God knew about me. An upper level with a loft area looking toward the big upper windows, a perfect place to work and write, I thought. The upper windows were so big I could see the sun shining in brightly and I was ready to purchase the home. So we made the seller an offer and they quickly responded and my new home was under contract. God knew me, He knew my heart and desires and He listened to me. What an amazing God I serve.

The day before I didn’t know I would be moving into such a new beautiful home, But God did.
