Have you ever noticed how beautiful God’s creative love and His creation are? Have you looked at the adorable face of a newborn baby? To me, these examples represent Creative Love—an acknowledgment that everything around us was created with immense love from the Father.
Creative Love occurs when someone cares for you so deeply that they create special things just for you. They aim to catch your attention and speak boldly to your heart. It can be as simple as a card left on your pillow or receiving flowers on an unexpected day—these are all expressions of Creative Love. There are countless ways to demonstrate love and care for others, and we should take a moment to recognize the many ways Yahweh has shown us His Creative Love.
We can all acknowledge that coming to Earth as a baby and then dying on the cross is one of the greatest signs of love. Additionally, the act of creating the heavens and the earth exemplifies His profound Creative Love. So, what are some other expressions of Creative Love that resonate with you? For me, it’s the sound of birds chirping on a spring morning, butterflies flocking to a butterfly bush for nectar, or landing gently on flowers in a garden. These beautiful creations can truly capture one’s eyes and heart, and this is how I define Creative Love.
Children represent another facet of Creative Love for me. Their laughter and smiles are so illuminating; they can instantly brighten even the worst day with a simple, innocent giggle. A child with Down syndrome can melt my heart with their purity, love, and care. Their innocence brings immense joy, not only to themselves but also to those around them. This is all part of Creative Love, as they are creations of our Heavenly Father, bringing light and laughter into our lives.
Beyond the physical manifestations of love, we should also take time to appreciate things we cannot see, such as sounds. The crashing waves of the ocean create a comforting noise that we cherish. On spring mornings, my favorite sound is the cheerful chirping of birds, accompanied by the gentle rustling of the wind through the trees. These subtle elements are often taken for granted, even though they embody Creative Love.
Did Yahweh not give us the greatest and most splendid Creative Love imaginable? We have so much to be thankful for if we take the time to observe and listen to these creative gifts. This spring, I hope we can pause to notice Creative Love in our lives and acknowledge its source.
