Precious and few are the moments the two of us can share, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I95xCjQe6Jg ) Not sure why those words and song keep going on in my mind but they do remind me of my Jesus and the also remind me of a time long ago.
Lord, there are times I get so tired of trying, surviving, thinking, praying, hoping, wondering, and wishing. Guess that’s when I finally have to give up and just surrender and let you. But dadgum it God, I’m just tired of being this way, as I know so many others do as well. You take us to the level we can’t handle anymore to bring us back up in the way You want us to be. Redeemed. It just gets really hard sometimes Father especially when you’re all alone.
Being set apart
I know You have set me apart but as this moment I am just discouraged. There are times that so many memories just flood through my thoughts about the old home. https://www.canoncity.org/101/Visitors Memories of my kids growing up and how they’d have their friends over to the house and they would all hang out downstairs and enjoy having that area to themselves. The grandkids did as well. Especially the oldest one since she lived there too. Times that all the girls would be over and all you could hear was giggles. And if they were staying over, you could hear chatter and giggles all night long. It was definitely a great place for the grandkids to hang out and be. I know my move to Waco was hard on them because I needed to sale the house. It was the only home that they all knew. Yet at that point the family was severely broken and no idea when the healings would ever take place so we could enjoy it together. God I know You are working out all things for our own good.
Today I am thankful for the 31 years I had in that home. Not all good and not all bad. It was tough but I choose to remember the good things that happened there and not the bad. The choice, that’s up to me and how I want to be. I can stay as the victim or I can choose to be the victorious one and thrive through live. There are times I like to stay in that pity box, but you know what is weird, nothing is ever accomplished there. You have to move out of it for anything good to come from it. Again, it’s a choice.
It’s your choice
So feeling defeated isn’t a true option, feeling burnt out or discouraged are real feelings, don’t get me wrong but again, it’s what we do with it. Our choice and our reactions set everything else into motion.
Every day is a new step in going forward in my life, my life and not anyone else’s. At this moment I can be thankful for the beautiful moment and all that it is offering me. It really is a wonderful world and there is so much to enjoy if we will just look for it. And it’s a life we can have to our very selves, it’s our own agenda, our own path that is not shared or duplicated with anyone else in the whole world. Jesus sets the steps and we just need to follow, it’s uniquely made for us. God sends us on a journey that has been set exactly for us and for our learning experience. Sometimes it’s just taking in those moments of beauty and hearing the sounds of the universe. Precious and few are the moments, and right now they seem to be the moments to calm this tired soul and lift up this discouraged spirit.

So may the God of Wonders and Blessings keep you close to Him and grant you the desire of your heart. May your heart seek Him first so that all the others will be added into your life. May you see His goodness in everything, especially the difficult times and may it grow your relationship with Him to a deeper level and your faith as well.
